well shit aye…

March 18, 2006

did the shopping expedition, pretty uneventful. tho i was coughed on by a passing shopper and no the coughing wasn’t a reaction to a “uh oh” [heh heh jdee] from me…and yes i managed NOT to chase her down and roll over her with my fully loaded shopping trolley whilst berating her about her lack of basic frigging manners…but don’t you worry i remember her poorly dyed old pony-tailed head…she’ll keep…*wink*

so i made the effort and rocked on over for my brothers forty-third birthday barbie celebration out at the olds bush haven…yes i know yaay for me, beings that our younger sister wasn’t able to attend i thought i better make the effort so that at least one of his siblings was there.

anyway, we were sitting around on the veranda just yapping away when my aunty jiings started telling my brother and i that we are descendents of a lady by the name of alice nutter who was found ‘guilty’ of being a witch and was hanged in a public execution along with a few more “pendle witches” at lancaster gaol way back in 1612…

upon further reading turns out poor alice who happened to be a wealthy landowner appears to have been in the wrong place at the wrong time and got caught up in the witchiepoo accusations. apparently, my great aunt who still lives in england had sent my bad granny all this information regarding our family history quite a few years back and bad granny burnt it…bad bad granny!

but that’s not all that was revealed…

they [my mum and my aunt] told us something that i have suspected for a very bloody long time…ever since i saw a photo of their father [who was killed when my mum was just sixteen]…my grandfather’s grandmother [perhaps great grandmother i forget...all these great and grands] was an undiluted aboriginal. HA!…i fucken KNEW IT….*cackle*…hmmm, as i type i am plotting my land reclaim somewhere…but hell that does explain my brothers colouring [he has that lovely olive skin] and explains a second cousins nose…*giggle*.

so yeaah…what an interesting afternoon…and lookout anybody that pisses me off i will be able to ‘curse’ them twofold…with the evil eye and the pointing of the bone. cool beans.

It’s amazing the things you can find out by accident. The last man ever hanged in North Dakota was hanged for shooting my great grandpa in the back for his horse.

You always make me smile. I was reading you over breakfast to Mr. Bruce. He loved the fart post. Men.

I love the idea of something exotic and different in my heritage tho I figure I come from a long line of bores… :) Yes, I would like to think you can “refine” your language by using the much more acceptable “uh oh” with a giggle…. glad yu went to the barbie, ain’t cha?

Isn’t is amazing when you go back into family history? Being of mexican descent I’ve got a lot of everything in my background. The family name is originally from Spain, has a coat of arms and everything.
Can’t say I know of any witches – just some odd catholics here and there. ;.D
No aboriginees either, but there is a bit of African blood in certain parts of mexico. Hence the name “mexican” We’re mixed up..lol.

She coughed on you…oh she’s in trouble now!! especially with a witch and aboriginal in your genes.. watch out people!!

Ya, if I change my phone number Apos, I’m not going to have a recording with my new number on it for the telemarketers to call. That would kinda defeat the purpose.

Good idea!! I hope squirrelly decides to try BB gun boy’s place instead. Hmmm.. how to get him over there. Maybe I’ll throw sunflower seeds up on his roof.

  5. ahh i love it..ha…at one family reunion us kids (cousins…) discovered that our aunt jean who was married to our uncle jack was married to his brother joe before him…we were scandalized…ha..i asked my daddy (joe and jack are were his younger brothers) if he was ever married to her and he said no …i thought for a minute..( i was about 8) and said..’why, what’was the matter with you’?
daddy didnt think i was funny but both my uncles were in hysterics.

  6. Funny about the old folks they liked to keep things dark in those days…me, I’d rather rattle the family tree and see what falls out, hehehe…glad you went to your brother’s birthday do and spent time with family. Like you say you are twice as dangerous now, two mystic people in your background :) nobody better cross your path or piss you off now because they will so wish they hadn’t….hugz, Linda

Aboriginal, huh? Witch, huh? You would fit right in here. “The boy” asked about you. I told him you would be back soon and he should keep a masage table and drinks handy.

Ya, love the way they told me about the fees! Fucktards.

It’s still raining here off and on. We have a break right now, but more is expected soon. Bought damn time. We need it.

No running people over with trolleys, okay?

  9. Oh I would love to find out everything of my Ancestry…for some weird reason my dad just doesn’t remember much, and the ones who would remember are all dead,..but all I know is my dad’s side of the family is from ireland, or scotland or something like that..hell im just a total heinz 57 LOL

  10. That’s amazing about the witch in the family! Ooops, I guess I shouldn’t automatically label her that. With most of the people killed in this country for witchcraft way back, it was mainly hysteria and they were innocent. Either way, fascinating history!

  11. I love family history stories!!!! Try talking to Alice out loud. She’s probably still around trying to find someone to “avenge” her death. (Set the record straight.)

glad to find you over here. funny how the attitude over aboriginal background has changed, isn’t it? Growing up, my mom was always worrying around the edges of my dad’s background, trying to figure out for sure… his mom firmly denied it, … but eventually other relatives she found confirmed that yes, he was 1/8 native american… Pottawattamie. So his mom was 1/4 and her mom was a “half-breed” and I”m sure she grew up fighting that… I’m just glad that I’ve got a little of the local continent in there along with the mish-mash of European ancestors.
